Shipping Configurations:
Shipping Configurations are used to decide which services are available when using POPS. They let you choose which Shipping Carriers can be used and how users will interact with them. Inmark provides default Shipping configurations, but if you want to add your own, you can click the "Add" button in the Shipping Configuration section of your business' Settings page.
The first thing you will have to decide is what type of shipment this configuration will apply to, namely, Inmark Shipments (Where Inmark will ship a shipping solution directly to you i.e. Trunk Stock) or a Payload shipment (Where Inmark will ship your payloads for you i.e. Ship Now).
Next if this is a configuration for Inmark Shipments, you will have to specify whether to use your own Carrier Accounts or Inmark's Carrier Accounts.
Following that you can select which of our supported carriers this configuration will allow:
Now you will have to specify which rates you would like to make available to your users from the specified Carriers:
If you would like all rates to be available, you can still recommend a specific rate from a carrier via the following drop-down:
You can also prevent exorbitant shipping costs by specifying a maximum Cost per shipment, preventing too expensive orders from being placed, or allow any cost by checking the provided check box:
You will also optionally be able to provide a custom URL to be printed as a QR code with your orders if you would prefer your labels to redirect to your organizations website for example. By default it will link to Order / Shipment history in POPS showing all of the details of the order:
And Finally you will have to provide a name for your Shipping Configuration so that it is more easily identifiable and click on create:
After following the Configuration wizard, you will need to set up the regions that this Shipping Configuration can service by clicking on edit next to the 'Shipping Region Mapping' section:
Enable the relevant regions via the check boxes provided and click on done:
The enabled regions should then be reflected as such:
Note:
Shipping Accounts may need to be configured to support specified regions.
Shipping Accounts:
A Shipping Account allows you to specify who will pay for shipping services while using POPS. It enables the use of various supported Shipping Carriers on POPS. To add your own Shipping Accounts, simply click the "Add" button in the Shipping Accounts section of your business's Settings page.
While filling in all of your Account details it is useful to have an invoice from your account handy to cross reference and ensure accuracy. This is important as Inmark will establish a direct connection with the carrier and handle the communication on your behalf. The information required varies for each Carrier and the following is only a sample. After you have filled in all relevant details you can click on save to finalize your Shipping Account creation:
You will have to enable the regions that this Carrier Account will be able to service by clicking on Edit next to the 'Shipping Account Region Mapping' Section:
Note:
To ensure that shipping works as desired for your users, the selected regions should accurately reflect the capabilities of your account with the Carrier. Inmark Recommends discussing these capabilities with a representative of your chosen carrier.
Using the check boxes provided enable a region for 'Ship To' if you would only like Inmark Shipments to be available for that region, enable 'Ship From' if you only wish Inmark to ship your payloads from that region without providing packaging for said payload, or both 'Ship To' & 'Ship From' if you would like any of our various shipment options to be available for the region:
The enabled shipping regions should be reflected as such:
These regions determine if the regions set in your Shipping Configuration will work.
