SMS messages can only be sent to SMS/text message capable devices. This usually means mobile phones, but some VOIP phones offer SMS support. If you provide a phone number that is not capable of receiving SMS, you will not receive a confirmation code to continue.
If your SMS capable phone is still not receiving messages, please wait up to 24 hours before contacting support. Your carrier may be implementing a temporary freeze on text messages. Carrier freezes are temporary in most cases and will clear up with time.
