There are two types of questions that can be on exams. Both of these questions are scored differently on exams. A Multiple-Choice question can only have one correct answer out of all potential responses. If you selected the correct answer, you get the associated marks for that question. If you selected any of the other incorrect responses, you will not get the associated marks for the question.

A Multiple Response question is graded based on the selected AND unselected responses. Credit is awarded for each correct response. A correct answer is selecting a response that should be selected or declining to select a response that should not be selected.
