The primary difference between a Chapter-Based course and a Cumulative course is when you can take your exams.
- Chapter-Based: After each chapter has been completed; you gain the ability to write the Exam for that chapter. Every chapter exam must meet the minimum pass score in order to attain your Certificate.
- Cumulative: After you have completed all Required chapters, you gain the ability to write the Final Exam for that course. If you complete any optional chapters after you have successfully written the Final Exam, you will have to re-write the Final Exam with the new Optional Chapter material.
