Your Online Saf-T-Pak Training Account
There are a lot of great benefits available to you now that your account has been created. Your account can contain numerous purchased courses and maintain your training history. For those who are training administrators your account will allow you to access the administrative application for all courses you have setup. As a training administrator your account will also allow you to become a student in courses.
Adding a Course
Adding a course is easier than ever. When logged in to apps.saftpak.com, select your username from the menu bar at the top of the screen, then choose "Add Product Key". A screen will prompt you for your product key information. You will only be required to enter in your product key and press submit. If the product key was recognized as valid for course enrollment, the correct course will automatically be added to your "My Home" screen and you can start training. In the event the product key was not recognized by our system, you will receive a warning message.
Taking a Course
As a Saf-T-Pak training account holder, you will have access to the application from any compatible Internet connected device, 24-7. This mean you can access the training on your desktop at work, your smartphone, your tablet, or your home PC. You can access your enrolled courses from the "My Home" screen underneath the Online Courses tab where you will see all active* courses you have been enrolled in. If you have purchased a Webinar, your webinar course will be located underneath the Webinar tab. If you have purchased a Seminar, your seminar course will be located underneath the Seminar tab.
Once you have selected a course you will be presented with the chapter index. Simply select a chapter to get started. Read through the training material and follow the on-screen instructions to complete chapters.
For courses with a final exam, once all required chapters have been completed you will be able to access the final exam. The final exam will contain questions on each completed chapter, optional chapters that have not yet been completed will not have content on the final exam, and you will not receive credit for those chapters on the exam certificate. For course with chapter-based examination you will be presented with an exam specific to that chapter after completing the chapter content.
Course completion certificates will be awarded to students who have completed the required examination requirements. It is your responsibility as a student to ensure you have taken all optional chapters necessary to fulfill your job requirements. For courses with a Cumulative Final Exam, a certificate will be awarded when the minimum passing score has been met for a final exam. For courses with Chapter Based Exams, a completion certificate will be issued once all required chapters have a passing score on their respective exams. Both exam types will only provide credit for chapters that have been completed and have had their contents tested upon.
*Expired courses with valid certificates will also be available to you on your "My Home" page. Courses with expired certificates are hidden by default but this can be altered on the My Account Settings Page.
**Course type by default will be "Comprehensive Training", in the event you have previously taken this course and this is your second time taking the course in the system, you can opt for the "Refresher Training", where you will be tested on the same content, but course content you may find repetitive has been removed from the chapters.
